This is fun and relaxed photography, capturing the essence of who you and your family really are. Please have a look through the images and I hope you enjoy seeing what I love doing the most. A mother's memories

I read an article today by Cathryn Jakobson Ramin regarding having a bad memory. I felt quite moved by the way she wrote about her son as he lay folded in her lap on the beach and it made me think about my own son and how I love that my photography as enabled me to keep those moments forever...

"Consciously I made a memory - his streaked and salty hair, the colour and warmth of his skin. The moment is mine for ever - but only because I took time to secure it."_mg_480102blog_2

Marc & Debbie

Yesterday was spent being "second camera" to my friend and fellow photographer Charlie Johnson at Marc & Debbie's wedding. I love this sort of job as I get to hide away and capture all those special moments. Here are just a few of the pics that I loved the most but I could go on forever. It was the most beautiful day and held in the lovely setting of Buxted Park in Sussex...

Out with a client this morning and managed to get some lovely shots before all the bad weather set in. It's so great to get out and about and do a shoot in different locations and although I thought I knew the area well, it was wonderful to discover new places hidden away...

PJ's

I was doing some commercial work this week for Heart & Soul in Lindfield, West Sussex, which sells the most gorgeous clothes for children as well as lots of other scrummy things for your little ones. I will blog some more later but for now, check out these PJ's and the little guy who's wearing them - they are both just adorable!!

MINI BODEN COMPETITION

As you may already know, Mini Boden are running a competition to support Rainbow Trust - a fantastic charity that help and support families who have a child with life threatening or terminal illness http://www.rainbowtrust.org.uk/. If any of my clients would like to enter a photograph from their shoot Sarah Wright Photography will match the entry fee of £5 and send to Rainbow Trust. I know I've photographed some great kids over the past 12 months, so why not enter and see if you can win and do your bit to help a great cause at the same time.

Competition details are as follows and terms and conditions apply go to www.boden.co.uk/face

Surveyassetphp
Could your child be a Face of Mini Boden? We are looking for two children (one girl and one boy), who are bursting with personality and natural flair in front of the camera, to win the chance to model for Mini Boden.
There’s a £5 entry fee, which will be donated directly to Rainbow Trust to help support families who have a child with a life threatening or terminal illness.

We’re very lucky to have the help of Trish Halpin, editor of InStyle magazine and long-time supporter of Rainbow Trust’s work, joining Johnnie on the judging panel.

And if you need any more encouragement, for every child you enter your name will automatically be put into a free prize draw to win £1,000 worth of Mini Boden or Boden clothes.
